Councils from across South and Mid-Wales came together on Saturday 17th 2023 to participate in the annual Pride Cymru parade in Cardiff.
The parade was one of the largest to date. It was a visually spectacular celebration of equality and diversity. This year’s parade departed from Castle Street at 11.00am before heading down High Street and St. Mary Street, along Mill Lane and through the Hayes, it then turned down Queen Street, onto Park Place and finally Greyfriars Road before it finished at the Kingsway.

As a member of the network, Blaenau Gwent Council is committed to actively championing LGBTQ+ inclusion in our workforces and communities.
We were pleased that Councillor Diane Rowberry was present for the march along with representatives from the other Local Authority areas.
