Pay your Council Tax

Paying Your Council Tax

The Council needs to collect Council Tax to help us pay for the services that we provide to our community.

If you experience difficulty in paying your Council Tax please contact us. We can look to extend your payment arrangement to make it easier for you to pay, and assess your potential entitlement to Council Tax Reduction (or Free School Meals if you have children) if you are on a low income or social security benefits such as Universal Credit. We will keep you updated of any information on financial support made available to assist during this difficult period.

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is committed to making services more user-friendly and accessible.

As part of our on-going development programme we offer a range of payment methods for Council Tax directly, and securely, to the Council.
