Replacement Local Development Plan

Your chance to submit a new site or comment on submitted sites.

The Council are now able to recommence the second call for candidate sites and further information stage of the Replacement Local Development Plan. The Council previously invited submissions from developers, landowners and the public for sites that could be considered for new development, re-development or protection in the Replacement Local Development Plan. These sites are known as “Candidate Sites”.  A Register of all Candidate Sites received during this period has been made available to view online.

From 30th March 2021 to 18th May 2021 the Council will be:
Seeking views on the draft findings of assessments undertaken of the submitted Candidate Sites.
Anyone wishing to comment will need to submit a comment form.

Undertaking a 2nd call for sites particularly in the Tredegar and Lower Ebbw Fach areas.
Anyone wishing to promote new sites will need to complete a Candidate Site Form.

Requesting further information from site promoters.

All documents and forms are available to download online.

Hard copies of documents can be viewed and forms collected from all open local libraries by appointment (please note Blaina library is presently closed) or the General Offices, The Works, Ebbw Vale.
