Blaenau Gwent CBC invite third sector parties funding applications to support the Council’s delivery of UKSPF objectives

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF or the Fund) is a central pillar of the UK government’s ambitious Levelling Up agenda and a significant component of its support for places across the UK.

The primary goal of the UKSPF is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK.

The Fund has been split into three priority areas:

  • Community and Place
  • Supporting Local Business; and
  • People and Skills

This grant is under Community and Place provision and has two objectives as stated below

  • Strengthening our social fabric and fostering a sense of local pride and belonging, through investment in activities that enhance physical, cultural and social ties and amenities, such as community infrastructure and local green space, and community-led projects.
  • Building resilient, safe and healthy neighborhoods, through investment in quality places that people want to live, work, play and learn in, through targeted improvements to the built environment and innovative approaches to crime prevention.

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council invite third sector parties to apply for funding to support the Council’s delivery of the UKSPF objectives.
