As part of this year’s Foster Care Fortnight, it was confirmed that Foster Wales Blaenau Gwent will be the proud new sponsors of Nantyglo F.C. for the Under 10’s Team alongside Kelly’s Explorers Childminding.
The most recent sponsor has meant that the children can continue playing together as a team and have been able to freely design their very own kit as part of the sponsor.
On Tuesday 4th July at 7pm Nantyglo Football club hosted a kit sponsor presentation at Duffryn Park Blaina, to finally showcase the new kits to the team. Foster Wales team members attended the kit launch, as well as Kelly’s Explorers and parents / carers of the children to watch the U10’s team collect their new kit from Julie Milton, from the Foster Wales placement team.
Darren Michael, Nantyglo F.C. Under 10’s Football Coach said:
‘’ For the team and I, keeping the sponsor local is important to us in this current environment. The whole team are local children from all areas of Blaenau Gwent. The Team are going to love the new, improved and professional kits as they have never received brand new kits before. ‘’
The team were ecstatic with the look of the new kits. Darren continued to thank both Sponsors for what they have been able to do as part of a team, especially after a tough season.
