Our Decarbonisation Plan sets out how we intend to deliver on the Welsh Government’s ambition for the Welsh public sector to be carbon neutral by 2030.
We are committed to leading decarbonisation across Blaenau Gwent. We believe that this leadership starts with addressing the climate impact of our own operations.
The basis of our plan is a comprehensive assessment of the carbon impact of our operations, including calculating our carbon footprint.
The plan identifies nine transition pathways and includes data and summaries which identify key challenges for each transition.
The plan will also help to ensure that decarbonisation is built into our long-term plans to improve well-being in Blaenau Gwent.
