Your Rights to Data Use and Protection
The Data Use and Access Act together with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) provides you with extensive rights regarding how your personal information is handled in the United Kingdom. Making a Data Protection Complaint
If you believe your data has been misused or handled inappropriately, you have the right to make a formal complaint. To do so simply email dataprotection@blaenau-gwent.gov.uk outlining your concerns. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 30 days and a response will be provided without undue delay.
Exercising your rights is straightforward and free of charge. The organisation is committed to upholding your privacy and will investigate your complaint thoroughly. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome, you may also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for further assistance.
