EMERGENCY CLOSURE NOTICE 2026

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(2)(b) and 15(7)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, intends to close, to all traffic, the length of path as more particularly described in the schedule below for a maximum period, as specified.
SCHEDULE
Location Bridleway (Public Rights of Way) known as 331/49 (part)
Alt. Route Through local nature reserve as shown on plan
Reason To protect public from dangers associated with landslip and remedial repair works
Duration From 17:00 on Thursday 12th February 2026 for a maximum period of 21 days or until the works are complete whichever
is the earlier.
