Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council in conjunction with Careers Wales is organising an Inspiration Event for year 9 pupils to highlight the wide range of career routes available to them.
Pupils from Ebbw Fawr, Abertillery and Brynmawr Comprehensive School will be involved in this inspirational event that will support them before they have to make their options.
The event will be related to promoting a wide range of career routes available to them relating to the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subject areas.
The event is looking to include companies across a range of sectors including advanced manufacturing, digital / ICT, Construction and the Foundational Economy. It will be about promoting careers in the STEM subject area and therefore require companies that are interested to focus on interactive activities to engage with the pupils. The event will also highlight apprenticeship routes as credible alternative to University.
