Commercial Floor Fitters

Role and Responsibilities
• Vinyl floor layer and with other trade skills.
• Cutting, shaping and fitting underlay and carpet/vinyl.
• Working with multi trade team in various commercial and retail companies within the
UK providing excellent quality work to our valued customers.
• Fitting flexible flooring carpets and vinyl, along with underlays, grippers and door plates at multiple addresses in the area each day.
• Liaising with our Customer Service Teams to provide an industry-leading service to our valued customers.
• The ideal individual will have multiple years of experience fitting Carpets and Vinyl flooring in residential properties.
• Supporting other trades on site
• Driving and unloading carpet to the client’s
location.
• Making sure that the floor surface is smooth.
Preferred Skills
• Fully experienced commercial vinyl floor, carpet and tile fitter.
• Other possible multi trade experience would be of benefit. Knowledge of plastic waste recycling or mechanical engineering.
Hours
• Full time
• Work away dependent on business need
Additional Information
• A full UK driving licence
• Transport will be provided, uniform, most tools and equipment, accommodation while working away, food allowance plus other benefits.

Sales Representative (x 2 positions)
• Tredegar based company
• 1 x Sales Representative position with knowledge of plastic extrusion / moulding / injection / recycling industry.
• 1 x Sales Representative with Knowledge of mechanical engineered parts from CNC lathe
Role and Responsibilities
• Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
• Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
• Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Role and Responsibilities
• Helping to load goods into the van for delivery to customers.
• Making sure that the goods are loaded securely and will not move or get damaged in transit.
• Helping to find the best route for the journey by map reading or using either satellite navigation (satnav) or global positioning system (GPS) software.
• Unloading the van and carrying the goods into the customer’s premises or home.
• Getting POD (point of delivery) signatures workload.
• Helping to clean the vehicle

Trainee Technical Advisor

Duties will include cad detailing and full specifications, add project to CRM. To deal with technical queries in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Duties
• Review client conditions and determine specific offer requirements.
• Production of accurate project specifications.
• Preparation of site reports following visits from Technical Manager.
• Analysis of construction drawings and reports.
• Bespoke CAD drawings.
• Work within defined Quality Assurance procedures.
• Talking to customers via email and telephone.
• To continue to learn about out specialities by means of further reading.
• To attend training courses when required.
• Support the training and induction of new employees.
• To keep work area well organised, clean and tidy.
• Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

Hours
• 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

Wages will be dependent on experience
