Blaenau Gwent Council offices in Ebbw Vale and Abertillery will be closed from 5.00pm on Thursday 29th March until 9.00am on Tuesday 3rd April.
Customer Services
C2BG (the Council’s Contact Centre) will close at 5.00pm Thursday 29th March and will re-open at 8.00am Tuesday 3rd April. However, you can submit reports, requests and applications to the Council through the My Services customer portal on our website www.blaenau-gwent.gov.uk or via the Blaenau Gwent mobile app available from the Apple, Google Play and Windows app store.
The Emergency out-of-hours service can be contacted on the usual number of 01495 311556 during this period. The Piper Alarm service will also continue to operate. Enquiries regarding Piper lifeline alarms out of office hours should be directed to 0845 056 8035.
Social Services Duty Team
The Duty Team Office will be closed from Thursday 29th March 5.00pm and will re-open Tuesday 3rd April at 9.00am.

Blaenau Gwent Register Service
The Easter opening times for the Register Office at Bedwellty House, Tredegar are as follows:
Friday 30th March Closed
Monday 2nd April Closed
The Register Office will re-open at 9.30am on Tuesday 3rd April 2018.
Cash Desk and Payments
Benefits customer services and the cash desk will be closed on Friday 30th March and Monday 2nd April and will be re-open at 8.30am on Tuesday 3rd April 2018.
For anyone wishing to make a payment between these dates the 24-hour automated payment line is available on 0845 604 2635 or payments can be made via the Blaenau Gwent website.
Waste and Recycling Collection Services
The waste and recycling collection services will continue as normal on bank holiday Friday 30th March and Monday 2nd April 2018.
The nappy and hygiene collection service will also continue as normal on Good Friday 30th March 2018.
