Council Tax help and advice

The Council recognises that people may be suffering financial stress and be concerned about their ability to pay their council tax during this time. If this is the case, we encourage individuals to contact the Council to discuss alternative payment arrangements.

In some cases, individuals may also be entitled to Universal Credit and / or Council Tax Reduction Scheme and we urge residents to apply.

Details of how to apply for both of these can be found on the Council website.
