C2BG (the Council’s Contact Centre) will close 12pm Friday, 23rd December and will re-open at 8am Tuesday, 3rd January.
The Emergency out-of-hours service can be contacted on the usual number of 01495 311556 during this period. The Piper Alarm service will also continue to operate. Enquiries regarding Piper lifeline alarms out of office hours should be directed to 0845 056 8035.
Social Services Duty Team

Blaenau Gwent Register Service
The Christmas opening times for the Register Office at Bedwellty House, Tredegar are as follows:
23rd December – 9am to 12.30pm
24th-28th Dec – CLOSED
29th and 30th Dec – 10am – 2pm OPEN FOR DEATH REGISTRATIONS ONLY
31st Dec – 2nd January – CLOSED
Open as usual from 9.30 am 3rd January.
