August Bank Holiday Service Arrangements

Customer Services

C2BG (the Council’s Contact Centre) will be closed on Monday 28th August 2017 and will re-open on Tuesday 29th August 2017 at 8am.

The Emergency out-of-hours service can be contacted on the usual number of 01495 311556 during this period. The Piper Alarm service will also continue to operate.  Enquiries regarding Piper lifeline alarms out of office hours should be directed to 0845 056 8035.

Social Services Duty Team

The Duty Team Office will be closed on Monday 28th August 2017 and will re-open on Tuesday 29th August 2017 at 9am.

During the Bank Holiday period please contact the Emergency Duty Team for Social Services on 0800 328 44 32.

Blaenau Gwent Registrar Service

The Registrar’s Office will be closed on Monday 28th August 2017.

Blaenau Gwent Electoral Service

Electoral Services will be closed on Monday 28th August 2017

Cash Desk and Payments

Benefits customer services and the cash desk will be closed on Monday 28th August 2017 and will re-open on Tuesday 29th August 2017 at 8.30am.

For anyone wishing to make a payment between these dates the 24-hour automated payment line is available on 0845 604 2635 or payments can be made via the Blaenau Gwent website.

Waste and Recycling Collection Services

The waste and recycling collection services will continue as normal on bank holiday Monday 28th August 2017.
