We wanted to take this opportunity to share with you just how incredible our annual Christmas Gift Appeal was for 2021.
We are extremely grateful for all of the wonderful donations we received, which helped to support some of the most vulnerable families within our local communities. This year each child or young person nominated received a bag of toys, gifts and a selection box.
The generosity of the individuals in our communities, companies and organisations within and outside of Blaenau Gwent is unprecedented.
The appeal went to another level again this year, with 390 children and young people being nominated from a range of teams, services, schools and organisations across Blaenau Gwent.
Co-ordinating such a large appeal has its challenges and we have to pay enormous credit to the all of the staff from teams within Children’s Services and other local organisations that work hard to ensure families get the support that they need at this time of year.
Once again thank you to everyone who made the 2021 Christmas Gift Appeal another huge success.
